Job description

Position Overview

Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated and licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team as a Remote Mental Health Counselor. This full-time position offers the unique opportunity to provide essential mental health services to low-acuity adult clients 100% from the comfort of your own home. As a member of our team, you will focus on delivering high-quality therapeutic interventions and making a measurable impact on the lives of individuals in need of support.

About the Organization

At Gotham Enterprises Ltd, we prioritize mental health accessibility, understanding that the growing need for mental health services requires innovative solutions like teletherapy. Our mission is to enhance behavioral health and foster personal growth in communities facing challenges by connecting clients with experienced therapists. By offering robust support and a streamlined operational process, we empower our therapists to focus on what they do best: supporting their clients.

Work Environment
  • Remote Work: Enjoy the flexibility of a fully remote position, allowing you to effectively balance your personal and professional life.
  • Flexible Hours: Create your own schedule with options for full-time or part-time work based on your availability, allowing for a customized approach to your career.
  • School-Based Setting: Engage with clients through video chat, focusing primarily on therapy tailored for stable, low-acuity adults.
Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Therapist, your key duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide compassionate and ethical individual mental health counseling sessions via video conferencing, ensuring a supportive atmosphere for client engagement.
  • Utilize solution-focused treatment modalities to develop and implement personalized therapy plans that address the unique needs of each client.
  • Foster client insights by guiding them through their emotional experiences and interpersonal relationships, thus promoting self-awareness and growth.
  • Continuously monitor and assess client progress, adapting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure positive outcomes and healthy coping methods.
  • Conduct regular documentation with minimal paperwork, allowing you to concentrate more on client care than administrative tasks.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on stable, low-acuity adult clients who may benefit from mental health services. This role requires a deep understanding of the challenges faced by this demographic and the ability to create a safe space for exploring personal issues. As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, you will effectively address a variety of mental health concerns, tailoring interventions to foster individual resilience and growth.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:

  • Possess a Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
  • Hold a current, independently issued state license in one of the following: LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or PsyD.
  • Exhibit no disciplinary actions against your licensing.
  • Display exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate nature, essential for establishing rapport with clients.
  • Be proficient in using technology to conduct video sessions and manage digital case documentation.
  • Have a reliable internet connection to facilitate uninterrupted counseling sessions.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preferred experience that would enhance your candidacy includes:

  • Clinical experience with adult populations, particularly in telehealth settings.
  • Previous work in community mental health or school-based programs.
  • Familiarity with solution-focused therapy and other evidence-based practices.
Compensation and Benefits

At Gotham Enterprises Ltd, we value your contributions, which is reflected in our competitive compensation package. The salary range for this position is between USD 90,000 and USD 104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and hours worked. Benefits include:

  • A sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
  • Regular weekly direct deposit for your convenience.
  • A monthly healthcare stipend for full-time counselors.
  • Access to a user-friendly counselor portal that simplifies client engagement and documentation.
  • Unlimited client referrals, meaning you won’t need to rely on self-promotion to build your caseload.
  • Personalized support to help you navigate your counseling responsibilities effectively.
Career Growth Opportunities

We are committed to the professional growth of our therapists. At Gotham Enterprises Ltd, you will have the chance to expand your clinical skills, receive mentorship from experienced professionals, and participate in ongoing training opportunities. Our supportive environment fosters continuous learning and development, paving the way for potential advancement within the organization.

Why Join Our Team

Joining Gotham Enterprises Ltd means becoming part of a supportive community focused on transforming lives. You will have the autonomy to craft your work schedule, the support of a dedicated team, and the resources necessary to thrive in a fully remote environment. Your expertise as a therapist will contribute directly to creating healthier communities, making your role impactful and fulfilling.
