We are seeking a Data Analyst for a full-time contract opportunity with FM Talent Source for one of our valued clients. 

Position Summary

The Data Analyst supports the analysis, interpretation, and reporting of programmatic, financial, and operational data to enable effective oversight of Head Start grants and regional performance outcomes.

This position is contingent upon contract award. The listed salary range is a general estimate based on current information and may vary. Final compensation will be determined based on qualifications and experience; candidates should not expect offers at the top of the range unless exceptionally qualified.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, aggregate, and analyze program and performance data across grantees and regional portfolios
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and data products to support decision-making and performance monitoring
  • Identify trends, risks, and performance gaps and provide actionable recommendations
  • Support analysis of grant applications, monitoring results, and compliance findings
  • Prepare written analytical reports, summaries, and data visualizations for federal staff
  • Maintain data accuracy and integrity within government systems (e.g., HSES, GrantsSolutions, tracking databases)
  • Support development of standardized templates, reports, and data tools
  • Collaborate with program staff to align data insights with programmatic actions

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in data analytics, statistics, information systems, public administration, or related field
  • 3โ€“5+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or program evaluation
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
  • Experience working with federal data systems or structured datasets preferred
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights

Work Environment

  • Primarily onsite at Regional Office with approved ADS flexibility
  • Remote work permitted only under approved or contingency conditions

Compensation Range: The salary range provided is determined by market value, internal equity, and the candidate's experience and qualifications. Offers will be extended within this range, though not all candidates will receive an offer at the upper limit.
