This full-time position involves providing clinical services to clients experiencing major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders. As a key member of our healthcare community, you will play a vital role in promoting mental health and well-being among under-served populations in Austin, Texas.

About the Organization

Our community health clinic is dedicated to improving the lives of those we serve through comprehensive mental health support, ensuring that every client has access to the resources they need.

Work Environment

This position offers a flexible remote work setting, allowing for a work-life balance that accommodates your personal needs while still enabling you to engage with clients and team members effectively. Our team functions with a collaborative spirit, working together to achieve goals that elevate the quality of care for our clients. With a strong support network, you will be able to tackle the challenges of social work in a meaningful and impactful way.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at H.O.P.E Healthcare Clinic, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaboratively participating as a vital team player, contributing to shared goals that advance the clinicโ€™s mission.
  • Demonstrating respect and understanding while working with diverse client backgrounds, beliefs, and interpersonal dynamics.
  • Navigating and functioning effectively within the established organizational structures and ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.
  • Upholding professional ethical standards and codes of conduct, fostering a safe and supportive environment for all clients.
  • Engaging in continuous professional development to enhance skills and improve therapeutic outcomes with a focus on client choice and empowerment.
  • Conducting evidence-based screenings and assessments, followed by developing and implementing integrated care plans to meet client needs.
  • Providing a range of focused prevention, treatment, and recovery services aimed at addressing clientsโ€™ urgent and ongoing mental health requirements.
  • Assisting in crisis intervention, ensuring appropriate responses to on-call situations as assigned.
  • Managing a diverse caseload that includes comprehensive assessments and therapy modalitiesโ€”individual, group, and family sessionsโ€”as necessary.
  • Ensuring compliance with monitoring protocols related to client admission, treatment, and discharge processes, and ensuring timely documentation and reporting.
  • Participating in agency committees and quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will predominantly focus on clients who are facing significant challenges due to mental health issues. In a community health setting, you will address not only the individualsโ€™ immediate psychological needs but also their socioeconomic circumstances, helping facilitate access to necessary resources and support systems.

  • A Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.
  • Must hold a current and valid LCSW license in the state of Texas.

  • Strong knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment methodologies applicable to various populations.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, critical for effective client interaction and team collaboration.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
  • Competency in addressing age-related and developmental issues relevant to the client populations served.
Preferred Experience

In addition to the required qualifications, fluency in both English and Spanish is highly preferred, enabling effective communication with a broader client base.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package that includes:

  • A salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • A comprehensive 401k plan with company contributions.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) and Sick Leave for a balanced work-life dynamic.
• Life insurance and profit-sharing options.
