• Conduct thorough assessments to gain insights into clients' presenting issues, personal history, and treatment goals, ensuring a comprehensive understanding for effective intervention.

In this role, you will primarily work with clients who are receiving hospice care and their families. This population often faces deep emotional challenges related to terminal illness, making your role vital in offering compassion and guidance. You will address a variety of mental health concerns such as grief, anxiety, depression, and existential distress, focusing on enhancing their emotional well-being during sensitive times.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York.
• At least two years of direct experience in a clinical setting, preferably working with individuals dealing with end-of-life issues.
• Strong clinical skills, particularly in assessment, treatment planning, and implementation of therapeutic interventions.
• Excellent communication abilities, underscored by empathy and interpersonal skills.

• Experience working within hospice or palliative care settings.
• Knowledge of common emotional and psychological issues faced by clients with terminal illnesses.
