Living & Balance Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and fully licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a remote capacity. This position allows for remote work through our outpatient office setting, providing you with the flexibility to deliver care from a comfortable environment while maintaining effective communication and collaboration with the treatment team. • Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ mental health concerns, leading to the development of personalized treatment plans.
• Craft and implement individualized treatment plans that cater to the varying challenges and goals of each client, ensuring that their unique needs are met.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques designed to assist clients in overcoming their obstacles and achieving growth.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for clients.
• Provide education and support to clients’ families to foster understanding and active participation in the therapeutic process, thereby encouraging a holistic recovery approach.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards, ensuring the protection of client information.

You will work with a diverse client base that includes individuals experiencing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. This role will enable you to build cultural competence as you serve clients from varied backgrounds, helping them navigate their unique experiences and facilitate their journeys toward mental wellness.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or Doctor of Psychology is required.
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is necessary to ensure a strong foundation in mental health practices.
• Demonstrated specialized training or extensive experience in mental health counseling will be essential for effective service delivery.
• Must exhibit a solid understanding of evidence-based practices specific to a range of mental health disorders.
• Exceptional therapeutic and counseling skills are required to establish rapport and motivate clients throughout their recovery journey.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities enabling productive collaboration with the treatment team are a must.

• Experience providing mental health services in a remote or outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and technology to support remote clinical practice.
• Previous experience working with various client demographics, including underserved populations.
• Proficiency in cultural competence and sensitivity to the diverse needs of clients.

• The competitive salary for this position is between USD 90,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
