Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions in various formats, including individual, couple, family, and group counseling sessions conducted primarily through telehealth platforms.
  • Utilize diverse therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy to address client challenges effectively.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring a holistic approach to client care.
  • Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential clinical records, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and legal standards within the mental health field.
  • Stay abreast of developments in mental health care by attending workshops, seminars, and professional development opportunities, actively applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.

This role requires adeptness in cultivating therapeutic relationships with clients from various backgrounds, fostering a safe and supportive environment where they can explore their challenges and work toward meaningful change.

Qualifications

  • Current, active, and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
  • A minimum of two years of post-graduate experience providing counseling services, preferably within a clinical setting.
  • Strong understanding of ethical standards and legal regulations related to counseling practices.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of clients effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and to contribute actively to multidisciplinary care efforts.
  • Comfort with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and telehealth technology to facilitate remote client interactions.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in trauma, substance use disorders, family therapy, or couples counseling is highly desirable and will be considered a strength.
  • Previous experience in a telehealth setting will be advantageous as we continue to embrace technology-driven care models.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is competitive, with an annual salary between USD 80,000 and 100,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
