As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Helpful Hands, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting detailed assessments of clients' mental health needs to inform individualized care plans.
• Developing, documenting, and implementing tailored treatment plans in collaboration with clients, focused on measurable outcomes.
• Providing various therapeutic modalities, including individual, group, and family therapy, utilizing evidence-based practices appropriate for each client’s unique circumstances.
• Maintaining comprehensive and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and follow-up sessions in accordance with professional and organizational standards.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external providers to coordinate care and ensure clients receive holistic support.

Your work will impact a diverse clientele, ranging from children and adolescents to adults seeking help for various issues—including anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.
• A valid and active license as a mental health counselor in Florida.
• At least two years of experience providing mental health counseling services, specifically in a telehealth or remote setting preferred.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients from various backgrounds.
• A strong ability to work independently, as well as collaborate effectively within a team setting.
• Deep knowledge of evidence-based counseling techniques and relevant therapeutic modalities.
• Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to ethical and legal standards of professional conduct.

While not mandatory, the following experiences will enhance your application:

• Familiarity with clinical documentation software and teletherapy platforms to facilitate effective client management.
