We are currently seeking a Mainframe Developer for our client in the Financial Services domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. This is a Contract position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: 12+ Months Contract (possible extension/ conversion)

Location: Merrimack, New Hampshire (Hybrid-2 weeks onsite per month/ alternate weeks, rest remote)

Salary: Up to $125,000/Annually or $65.00/Hourly

Role: Mainframe Developer

Primary Skills: Mainframe, COBOL

Role Description: The Mainframe Developer must have 4+ years of experience.

Top Skills:

The Expertise and Skills You Bring:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.

- Experience: Proven expertise with mainframe technologies and working knowledge of distributed systems.

- Solid hands-on development skills in mainframe languages and technologies (Cobol, CICS, VSAM, JCL, utilities, FileAid, Endevor, debuggers, schedulers, etc.).

- Proficiency with the DB2 database management system and database processing concepts.

- Extensive experience in SQL language.

- Deploy and support software releases into production environments.

- Strong knowledge of and experience with the overall testing process.

- Any knowledge or experience in distributed technologies, cloud computing, and/or Java programming is a plus.

- Specific Certifications: Relevant certifications in mainframe and distributed technologies are desirable.

- Skills: Effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.

- Capacity to successfully implement complex solutions in a dynamic environment.
