• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clients' mental health concerns, strengths, and goals.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on assessment results, client preferences, and evidence-based practices.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy.
• Monitor and document clients’ progress, ensuring timely adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to promote optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and case managers, to coordinate comprehensive mental health care.
• Advocate for clients’ rights and ensure access to appropriate mental health services and community resources.
• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards set forth by state licensing boards and professional organizations.

The ideal candidate will work primarily with individuals and families facing a wide range of mental health issues, particularly mood disorders. You will engage with clients during various life stages, helping them navigate emotional turmoil, relational conflicts, and personal challenges through supportive and therapeutic relationships.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York State.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, providing therapy to individuals with mood disorders.
• Expertise in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including CBT and DBT, with a strong focus on delivering successful treatment outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and familiarity with collaborative care approaches within a mental health context.
• Demonstrated ability to build therapeutic relationships with clients, fostering trust and engagement in the treatment process.

• Experience with teletherapy practices and platforms for remote client engagement.
