This position is conducted remotely, allowing for flexibility while remaining fully engaged with students and school personnel. You will work during standard business hours, with occasional evening and weekend availability based on student needs and caseload management.

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments of students through interviews, observations, and collaboration with educators to gain insights into emotional and social dynamics affecting their academic performance.
• Offer individualized counseling and therapeutic support to students and their families, addressing adjustment issues, emotional challenges, and fostering healthy coping mechanisms.
• Work collaboratively with educators and the rehabilitation team to develop holistic and personalized treatment plans that align with the students’ educational and social goals.
• Assist students in accessing essential community resources, such as mental health services, group support systems, and educational assistance to ensure comprehensive care.
• Educate families about available community programs and post-rehabilitation services to enhance understanding and engagement.
• Engage in proactive discharge planning for students transitioning out of services to ensure continuity and support in their home or educational environments.

You will primarily work with students facing various emotional and psychological challenges that disrupt their educational experiences. This includes children and adolescents dealing with trauma, grief, anxiety, and academic stressors. Your focus on addressing these barriers will contribute directly to their overall resilience and success in the classroom.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required.
• Proven excellence in communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and educational staff.

• Experience in a school-based setting or clinical rehabilitation environment is highly preferred.
• Background in trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy, and strengths-based practices will be beneficial.
• Familiarity with local community resources and school support services is a plus.
