Job description

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's or Master's of Science in Civil/Structuring Engineering
  • Professional Engineering (P.E.) License required
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in civil engineering design.
  • Must have advanced working proficiency in Civil 3D
  • Preference of working knowledge of Hydraflow, PondPack, WaterCAD, StormCAD, or similar software.
  • Exposure to permitting and permit processes.
  • Should have and display strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain effective communications with department members, higher management, and with clients.
  • Perform calculations (hand calculations, computer aided calculations (spreadsheets and mathcad), and 3D modeling.
  • Assist in creation of contract drawings via providing drawing input to civil designer

Comments/Special Instructions:

  • PE is non-negotiable
  • visa sponsorship not possible
  • Position can be remote or near the client's office. Remote position is justified because the role does not require client- and contractor-face-to-face interaction, and coordination on the project is executed remotely.
  • Conversion after six months would be ideal.
