• Provide compassionate, trauma-informed counseling for individuals, couples, and families, ensuring that each session aligns with clients' personal values and beliefs.
• Implement Christian counseling principles into therapy, facilitating discussions and interventions that resonate with clients' faith backgrounds.
• Develop and execute comprehensive treatment plans tailored to the unique needs and objectives of each client.
• Deliver counseling services to clients identified through local church partnerships, fostering community ties and promoting holistic healing.
• Engage proactively in community outreach initiatives to build caseloads, creating new referral networks through collaboration with local organizations and churches.
• Cooperate with other professionals, such as social workers and clinical counselors, to provide coordinated, collaborative care for clients.
• Maintain accurate client records and timely progress notes within the electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Regularly communicate with the center director regarding scheduling, availability, and any operational needs.

• A Master's degree in counseling, social work, or a related field is required.
• Must possess a valid and independently licensed credential as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW in Washington, or be within 200 hours of completing residency.
• Strong foundational knowledge of the Bible and familiarization with Biblical counseling techniques.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
• Demonstrate a compassionate and empathetic approach, committed to maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.

• At least one year of experience in trauma counseling is required.
• Dual licensure in Virginia or Maryland is highly desirable.
• Training in EMDR or willingness to promptly complete basic EMDR training within three months of employment.
• Proficiency in various therapeutic modalities and interventions to address a wide array of client needs.
