Our reputable law firm is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Family Law Attorney to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned legal professional who is well-versed in family law, including matters related to divorce, custody, alimony, spousal support and more. The successful candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of family law, possess exceptional negotiation skills, and have a proven record of delivering positive results for clients. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as the opportunity for professional growth and development.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert legal support and advice to clients on complex family law matters such as divorce, child custody, alimony, spousal support, and property division.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including marital settlement agreements, parenting plans, and court pleadings.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations, advocating for their best interests at all times.
  • Conduct thorough case analysis and develop effective case strategies that align with clients' objectives.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all relevant laws, regulations, and court decisions, and apply this knowledge to client cases.
  • Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and other team members to ensure the efficient and timely management of cases.
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with clients, providing them with regular case updates and ensuring their questions and concerns are addressed promptly.
  • Participate in business development activities to grow the firm's family law practice.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with the WA state bar.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Family Law Attorney, with a strong track record of handling cases, legal issues, alimony, and spousal support.
  • Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficient in legal research and writing.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, court personnel, and other legal professionals.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases with varying degrees of complexity.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest level of professional ethics and integrity.
  • Passion for helping clients navigate challenging family law issues, with a focus on delivering positive outcomes.
