Technical Product Owner
Location:Remote

We are looking for an experienced Technical Product Owner to lead product development initiatives in a complex enterprise technology environment.
This position requires someone who can work comfortably at both the executive and engineering levels. You will partner with CTO-level leadership, business stakeholders, architects, engineers, product teams, design, and QA to translate strategic goals into actionable product requirements and successful technology delivery.
The right candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to make sound decisions around architecture, priorities, dependencies, and delivery.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Partner with the CTO Office, engineering leadership, business stakeholders, product, design, and QA.
- Communicate technical decisions, trade-offs, risks, and roadmap progress to executive leadership.
- Translate business and technical requirements into detailed user stories and technical specifications.
- Own and prioritize the technical product backlog.
- Define clear and testable acceptance criteria.
- Lead backlog refinement and grooming sessions.
- Maintain a strong Definition of Ready.
- Manage cross-functional dependencies and technical blockers.
- Work closely with engineering and QA teams to ensure quality implementations and releases.
- Support sprint planning and milestone execution.
- Track product telemetry, operational metrics, and stakeholder feedback.
- Identify opportunities for continuous product improvement.
- Ensure delivered solutions provide measurable user, system, and business value.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in Technical Product Management or Product Ownership
- Experience working with complex enterprise software, infrastructure, cloud, or platform products.
- Strong experience communicating with and presenting to CTO/VP-level executives.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong understanding of modern software architecture, including:
- Microservices
- Cloud-native architecture
- APIs
- Distributed systems
- Advanced knowledge of Scrum and Kanban.
- Experience using JIRA and Confluence
- Ability to create clear, testable acceptance criteria using approaches such as BDD / Given-When-Then.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to independently assess technical dependencies, trade-offs, risks, and resource constraints.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with or alongside global enterprise technology companies such as HPE.
- Previous background as a Software Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Lead
- CSPO or SAFe POPM certification.
- Experience transitioning from engineering/architecture into Product Ownership.
This is a 100% remote position working with a distributed team. Candidates should be comfortable working independently and communicating effectively in an asynchronous remote environment.
