To thrive as a Remote Cherry Picker Operator, you need a solid understanding of equipment operation, safety protocols, and typically a high school diploma or equivalent, along with relevant operator certification. Remote Evening Teleradiologist – Independent Contractor Opportunity (Short 3-4 Hour Evening Shifts)

Shifts are highly customizable: OPTIONS

  1. Scheduled Shifts: Pick 4-10 hour shift blocks (or shorter/longer as preferred) during swing/ evening hours in your local time.
  2. At-Will Reading/hop-on/hop-off: (12 hours a week minimum -OR- 10 to 12 shifts per month
  3. Weekend coverage only

A reputable teleradiology practice is seeking board-certified/eligible radiologists for short or long shifts (day or evening) on a 1099 basis. They have an at-will reading option as well. This fully remote role focuses on flexible, bite-sized coverage during peak evening/day hours, with excellent support and top-tier tools to keep your workload manageable and efficient.

Hours adjust fully to your local time zone - perfect for radiologists anywhere who want focused evening work without long overnight commitments.

Example shift (in EST reference): 11:00 PM – 3:00 AM EST (a solid 4-hour block; similar 3-4 hour windows in your zone, such as late evening to early overnight hours).

To illustrate how this translates across major U.S. time zones (using standard time offsets; note DST may shift these by 1 hour seasonally):

  • EST (Eastern): 11:00 PM – 3:00 AM
  • CST (Central): 10:00 PM – 2:00 AM
  • MST (Mountain): 9:00 PM – 1:00 AM
  • PST (Pacific): 8:00 PM – 12:00 AM (midnight)
  • AKST (Alaska): 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM
  • HST (Hawaii): 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Your actual shift start/end will be set to match a comparable 3-4 hour evening window in your local time.

Key Features

  • Short, targeted evening shifts - typically 3-4 hours (with some flexibility up to 5-6 if desired), available weekdays, weekends, or mix-and-match
  • Ultra-flexible scheduling - short minimum commitments, hop-on/hop-off options, pick your blocks, and easy adjustments for travel or personal life
  • Emphasis on urgent/STAT studies with rapid turnaround: ED/inpatient, general, neuro, body, MSK, peds across primary modalities (CT, MRI, X-ray, US, etc.)

Practice Support Includes

  • Full assistance with state licenses, credentialing, and hospital privileges
  • Robust malpractice coverage including tail
  • State-of-the-art remote setup provided: high-resolution monitors, powerful workstation, dictation software, advanced PACS - everything you need delivered
  • 24/7 help desk support and CME/MOC resources

Qualifications

  • Board certification or eligibility in Radiology
  • Active medical license(s) in good standing (multi-state licensing support available)
  • Comfort and experience with urgent/STAT case interpretation
  • Reliable, distraction-free home or remote setup for focused evening reading

Ideal for board-certified radiologists who excel in efficient, high-acuity evening work and prefer short, well-supported shifts over traditional long overnights. Contribute meaningful coverage during busy evening hours while maintaining great work-life balance. Fully remote - work from anywhere with strong internet.
