What is a trainee cherry picker operator?

Trainee Cherry Picker Operators are individuals who are learning to operate cherry pickers, which are types of elevated work platforms or aerial lifts used to access hard-to-reach places, typically for maintenance, construction, or warehousing tasks. As trainees, they receive on-the-job instruction and formal training to safely maneuver the equipment, understand safety protocols, and perform various tasks at height. The role requires a good understanding of safety regulations, attention to detail, and physical fitness.
