Job Overview

We are seeking experienced CNC Machinists to support a project focused on advanced part production and process optimization. You will provide expertise in CNC machine setup, operation, precision measurement, blueprint interpretation, and machining troubleshooting.

No prior AI experience is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate hobbyist and industrial CNC machines, including Haas systems.
  • Load and verify CNC programs, install tooling, configure work-holding, and set work offsets.
  • Run first-piece inspections and adjust setups for dimensional accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot issues such as tool wear, chatter, and dimensional variation.
  • Use calipers, micrometers, indicators, and CMMs for precision inspection.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Provide feedback on machining processes, setups, and manufacturability.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a safe workspace.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience in setup and production.
  • Strong experience with Haas CNC controls, including VF-series machines.
  • Familiarity with hobbyist CNC platforms such as Makera Carvera preferred.
  • Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills.
  • Experience with precision measurement tools.
  • Experience machining various metals and plastics.
  • Strong troubleshooting and process optimization skills.
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills.
