Your interactions will predominantly occur through a user-friendly video chat platform designed for therapists, making it easy to engage with clients effectively.

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Mankind Therapy Inc., you will:

• Conduct compassionate, ethical individual counseling sessions via secure video chat, ensuring a safe and confidential environment for all clients.
• Utilize evidence-based, solution-focused treatment modalities that empower clients to overcome their challenges.
• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized and effective treatment plans that align with their specific mental health needs and life goals.
• Facilitate client self-awareness and insight into their experiences, emotions, and interpersonal relationships.
• Monitor client progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting plans as necessary to promote healthy coping mechanisms and overall well-being.

You will primarily serve stable, low-acuity adults presenting with a range of mental health concerns. Your focus will be on helping these individuals develop essential skills to enhance their quality of life and manage symptoms more effectively. Engaging with clients from various backgrounds, you will assess their unique needs and provide tailored support to foster personal growth and resilience.

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Licensure: Applicants must hold one of the following independent licenses: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Experience: A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience is necessary. Candidates with limited or provisional licenses will not be considered.
• Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills, a compassionate approach to therapy, and strong computer literacy are essential for this role.

While not mandatory, previous experience working in a remote setting or familiarity with teletherapy practices is highly desirable. Additionally, any experience with solution-focused therapy frameworks will be advantageous to your application.
