Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual counseling sessions via video chat, utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance clients' mental health.
• Encourage open discussions about emotions, experiences, and relationships, facilitating insight and personal growth.
• Act as an advocate for clients, helping them articulate their goals and aspirations for therapy.
• Assess clients' mental health conditions, devise comprehensive treatment plans, and implement solution-focused strategies based on your clinical expertise.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse client population that includes individuals experiencing a range of mental health conditions, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders. Your expertise will help clients navigate their challenges and achieve meaningful improvements in their well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Must hold a valid and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification from the state of Connecticut.
• No provisional or limited licenses will be considered.
• Strong clinical, diagnostic, and decision-making skills are essential.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a caring and empathetic demeanor.
• Proficient with technology and comfortable utilizing digital counseling tools and software.

Preferred Experience

• Experience managing your own caseload and providing therapy to various patient demographics.
• Familiarity with solution-focused therapy approaches and documentation methods.
• Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
