• Conduct individual counseling sessions with clients via video chat, employing therapeutic techniques to facilitate emotional exploration and personal growth.
• Encourage clients to articulate their feelings and experiences, fostering deeper self-awareness and insights that are essential for their therapeutic journey.
• Assess clients’ mental health statuses and collaboratively develop actionable treatment plans that align with their personal goals using evidence-based practices.

• Utilize digital platforms effectively for client documentation and communication while adhering to confidentiality and ethical standards.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will primarily work with a carefully screened clientele composed of stable adults with low acuity mental health concerns. The clients you see require supportive counseling rather than intensive therapy, making it crucial to use your expertise to empower them towards better mental health. Additionally, clients are matched based on your specialties and demographic preferences, ensuring a tailored approach to service delivery.

• Possession of a Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Full licensure to practice independently without supervision as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory. Note: Only applicants with full licensure will be considered; no limited or provisional licenses will be accepted, and a clean professional record with no disciplinary actions is required.
• Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to engage empathetically and effectively with clients.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate nature that empowers clients to feel safe and understood.
• Proficiency in using computer applications relevant to telehealth practices, ensuring smooth client interactions and documentation.

While the minimum requirement is a Master’s degree with full license, we value candidates who have prior experience in telehealth counseling or similar roles. Familiarity with solution-focused therapy methods is a plus, as well as any specialized training in areas such as cognitive-behavioral therapy or trauma-informed care. • The salary range for this role is competitive, between $115,000 and $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and hours worked.
• Full-time counselors are eligible for a monthly healthcare stipend, contributing to your overall well-being and that of your family.
