This full-time position offers a salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on the number of hours worked. As a Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Providing empathetic and ethical mental health counseling via video chat, adapting counseling techniques to meet each client's unique needs.
• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate client status, and developing personalized treatment plans to guide their progress.
• Applying evidence-based techniques to help clients improve their coping mechanisms, problem-solving skills, and interpersonal communications.
• Engaging in ongoing communication with clients to monitor their progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Staying current on best practices in mental health care and participating in professional development opportunities offered by the organization.

The primary focus of your counseling efforts will be stabilizing and supporting low-acuity adults who may be experiencing manageable mental health challenges. This population includes clients who are seeking to enhance their coping strategies, manage mild anxiety or depression, or navigate life transitions. Your role will be vital in empowering clients to regain control over their mental health and foster resilience.

To qualify for this position, you must meet the following criteria:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Possession of a current state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• Independent licensure that allows you to operate without supervision.
• No history of disciplinary actions on your professional license.
• Strong interpersonal skills, as well as proficiency with technology, particularly in virtual communication platforms.
• A stable internet connection capable of supporting video conferencing.

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in telehealth or remote counseling settings, especially those who have worked with a similar client demographic. Experience with treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) will also be beneficial.
