As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual counseling sessions via video chat to assist clients in enhancing their mental health.
• Encouraging clients to explore their emotions and experiences, facilitating personal insights and development.
• Acting as a strong advocate for clients, guiding them in defining realistic and achievable goals.
• Evaluating clients’ mental health conditions and developing personalized treatment plans utilizing a solution-based methodology grounded in your clinical expertise.

You will work primarily with stable adults exhibiting low acuity mental health issues. All clients are pre-screened to ensure they are appropriate for your counseling services. Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Licensing: Candidates must be fully licensed by the state board and in good standing to practice independently without supervision as either:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal communication skills and a sympathetic nature are essential for building rapport with clients.
• Technical Skills: As the role is remote, candidates must be comfortable using technology, including telehealth platforms for virtual sessions.

A minimum of 2 years of direct counseling experience is preferred, along with a proven track record of successful client care. Prior experience in a telehealth setting is advantageous but not mandatory.

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 104,000 annually, depending on experience and the number of hours worked. Additional benefits include:
