Chat and Change Mental Health is actively seeking a licensed Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dedicated team in providing high-quality mental health services. Work Environment

This position is a remote role, allowing flexibility in work location while remaining fully integrated into a vibrant and collaborative online team. At Chat and Change Mental Health, we leverage technology to foster a strong team culture with regular virtual meetings, training sessions, and social gatherings. Our work hours run from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a structured yet supportive working schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient-centered psychotherapy and other mental health interventions tailored to individual needs, utilizing evidence-based techniques and practices.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health and social functioning, taking into consideration their emotional and behavioral well-being.
  • Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to develop and evaluate integrated treatment plans.
  • Regularly monitor patient progress, adapting treatment strategies based on both patient feedback and clinical judgment, and documenting all interactions in our electronic health record system.
  • Engage with patients and their families to provide education regarding mental health conditions, treatment strategies, and available community resources to support holistic care.
  • Remain committed to ethical practice standards including maintaining patient confidentiality and establishing informed consent at all levels of treatment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The LCSW will work closely with a diverse client population experiencing a range of mental health conditions. Our patients include individuals struggling with anxiety disorders, depressive episodes, and conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). A strong focus on culturally competent care ensures that all patients feel understood and respected throughout their treatment journey.

Qualifications
  • Possession of a Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State is mandatory.
  • A minimum of two years of experience providing mental health services, with a strong emphasis on psychotherapy practices.
  • Demonstrated capacity to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Compensation and Benefits
