Key Responsibilities

As a licensed mental health counselor, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting compassionate and ethical individual counseling sessions through video chat platforms.
• Implementing solution-focused treatment modalities tailored to individual client needs.
• Developing personalized treatment plans that address the unique circumstances and goals of each client.
• Facilitating a deeper understanding of clients’ emotions and relationships through insightful dialogue.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will be focused on serving low acuity adults dealing with a range of mental health issues. Clients may present with conditions such as anxiety, mild depression, or adjustment disorders, and your interventions will aim at enhancing their life skills, emotional regulation, and overall mental well-being.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A valid, independent professional license, including either: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• No provisional or limited licenses, and no history of disciplinary actions.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills that reflect a compassionate and supportive nature.
• Strong computer literacy skills, with an ability to navigate digital therapy platforms efficiently.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will have prior experience in behavioral health settings and should feel comfortable using telehealth services. Familiarity with evidence-based practices in mental health counseling will be advantageous.
