Work Environment

The remote work setting at Chat and Change Mental Health fosters flexibility and promotes a work-life balance that our employees value greatly. Your home office can become a space of productivity and comfort as you engage with clients through telehealth platforms. The structure of our work hours is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for consistent interaction with patients and team collaborations throughout the week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group psychotherapy to patients experiencing a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, and PTSD.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ mental health status to gauge emotional, behavioral, and social functioning.
  • Develop evidence-based treatment plans that are culturally competent and tailored to the unique needs of each patient, employing methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or mindfulness-based interventions.
  • Monitor patient progress regularly and make informed adjustments to treatment plans based on evolving needs and feedback from both patients and healthcare colleagues.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and other healthcare professionals within our interdisciplinary team to maintain a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources through support groups and informational sessions.
