• Conduct individual counseling sessions via secure video chat, guiding clients through their emotional challenges.
• Facilitate open discussions where clients can explore their feelings, aspirations, and life experiences to enhance self-awareness.
• Employ clinical assessment tools to evaluate client needs and collaboratively develop personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize solution-focused approaches while implementing therapeutic interventions tailored to client goals.
• Act as a compassionate advocate for clients, helping them define their goals and navigate the complexities of mental health care.
• Maintain thorough but concise session notes, while Winland team manages the rest of the documentation process.

You will work primarily with stable adult clients who are experiencing low acuity mental health challenges within a hospice care context. This unique patient population may include individuals dealing with issues related to grief, loss, and the psychological impacts of terminal diagnoses. Your expertise will be pivotal in providing these clients with comfort and guidance during vulnerable times in their lives.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• State of Washington licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) is required; limited or provisional licenses are not accepted.
• Proven ability to make professional evaluations and informed treatment plans based on diagnostic assessments.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a strong capacity for empathy and active listening.
• Proficient in using technology for telehealth services, with strong computer literacy.

• Experience in hospice care or end-of-life counseling is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote counseling methodologies.
• Demonstrated history of working with clients from diverse backgrounds and understanding of cultural sensitivities.

In addition to a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, we offer a sign-on bonus to qualified candidates.
