Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings, diligently evaluating clients’ substance abuse history, mental health status, and readiness for change.
• Develop personalized, strength-based treatment plans that address both addiction issues and co-occurring mental health conditions.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices, ensuring that each client receives tailored methods that resonate with their unique experiences.
• Actively collaborate with other treatment team members, including medical professionals and social workers, to ensure seamless, integrated care.
• Educate and involve clients' families in the recovery process, empowering them to provide a supportive home environment conducive to healing.
• Maintain meticulous documentation and updated records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will support come from diverse backgrounds, facing varied challenges related to substance abuse. Many struggle with co-occurring disorders, such as anxiety, depression, or trauma. Your role will directly influence their recovery journey, helping them overcome personal barriers and regain control of their lives. Building rapport and trust with clients is crucial to fostering an effective therapeutic alliance, making empathy and strong interpersonal skills a must.

Qualifications

• A valid state license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professional Counselor (LPC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist (PsyD) is required.
• A completed master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Specialized training or demonstrable experience in addiction counseling, with a strong understanding of both substance use disorders and mental health challenges.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in leading group therapy sessions and workshops focusing on substance abuse and recovery.
• A proven history of utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities effectively, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.
• Experience in developing recovery-focused treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.

Compensation and Benefits
