Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings, diligently evaluating clientsโ€™ substance abuse history, mental health status, and readiness for change.
  • Develop personalized, strength-based treatment plans that address both addiction issues and co-occurring mental health conditions.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices, ensuring that each client receives tailored methods that resonate with their unique experiences.
  • Actively collaborate with other treatment team members, including medical professionals and social workers, to ensure seamless, integrated care.
  • Educate and involve clients' families in the recovery process, empowering them to provide a supportive home environment conducive to healing.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A valid state license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professional Counselor (LPC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist (PsyD) is required.
  • A completed master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
  • Specialized training or demonstrable experience in addiction counseling, with a strong understanding of both substance use disorders and mental health challenges.
Preferred Experience
