Sun Valley Consultation Services is seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our remote team, specifically focusing on enhancing the lives of individuals at our detox center in Cicero, Illinois. This role is fully remote, providing flexibility in work hours while ensuring effective collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. As part of a detox center, you will have the unique opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, helping them navigate their recovery journeys from substance use disorders.

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of psychosocial issues through the application of individual clinical social work skills, assisting patients and families in resolving personal and environmental challenges related to mental and physical illness.
• Conduct thorough bio-psychosocial assessments to identify barriers to treatment and enhance patients’ overall health status, thereby improving resource utilization.
• Collaborate with medical and support staff, providing thorough consultation on patients' psychosocial functioning to develop integrated, comprehensive care plans aimed at improving treatment compliance and patient satisfaction.
• Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing various modalities of therapy, including both individual and group sessions, adjusting the approach based on patient progress.
• Thoroughly document all social work activities and patient interactions in accordance with departmental standards and ensure adherence to the NASW Code of Ethics.
• Provide education and resources to patients and families, helping them understand and follow recommended medical and social work interventions.
• Assess and address the needs for patient and family advocacy, coordinating with community resources to enhance social support networks.
• Maintain current knowledge of community resources and clinical practices, participating in relevant educational opportunities to continuously enhance professional expertise.

The focus of this role is on individuals seeking detox and recovery services from substance use. Our patient population comes from diverse backgrounds, and we emphasize the importance of culturally appropriate care that respects individual differences and unique journeys. The LCSW will play a critical role in fostering resilience and promoting recovery for patients at our detox facility.

• A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois.
• Strong foundational knowledge of social work practices, especially in the context of age, human development, and cultural considerations.

• Between six months and one year of clinical experience in a health or mental health setting, preferably focused on individuals navigating substance use challenges.
• Demonstrated ability to develop effective therapeutic relationships and apply a variety of treatment modalities tailored to patient needs.

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. We also provide a SIGN-ON BONUS to welcome new team members.
