AXL Global Consulting is looking for experienced individuals to join our Dayforce Consulting team. As a Dayforce Workforce Management (WFM) Consultant, you will lead the implementation and configuration of Dayforce HCM (Human Capital Management) solutions, specifically focusing on the Workforce Management module, for our clients. You will collaborate closely with clients to understand their workforce management needs, configure the Dayforce system accordingly, and guide them through the implementation process. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that clients effectively leverage Dayforce Workforce Management to optimize their workforce planning, scheduling, and time tracking processes.

AXL hires people with a broad set of skills who are ready to tackle some of the industry's greatest challenges. You should have a technical mindset and be comfortable problem solving with multiple systems. This is a functional consulting position; however knowledge of the technical aspects of software implementations such as System Integration or Report Writing is a big plus.

Ideal candidates are fast learners and great communicators who can support the needs of our organization, your clients, and our partners. You must be resourceful and possess outstanding customer service and strong analytical skills.

This is a full-time, remote (USA or Canada) role.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients to analyze their workforce management requirements, operational workflows, and regulatory compliance needs.

  • Conduct workshops and meetings to gather detailed functional and technical requirements for configuring Dayforce Workforce Management.

  • Configure the Dayforce Workforce Management module to align with client-specific requirements and industry best practices.

  • Collaborate with technical teams to integrate Dayforce Workforce Management with other modules within the HCM system.

  • Develop and execute test plans to validate the functionality and accuracy of configured workforce management processes.

  • Conduct system integration testing to ensure seamless operation with other Dayforce modules and third-party systems if applicable.

  • Provide comprehensive training sessions to client stakeholders on using Dayforce Workforce Management functionalities effectively.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) to address client inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide ongoing support during and after implementation.

  • Create and maintain project plans outlining tasks, milestones, and timelines for implementation activities.

  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful and timely project delivery.

  • Document configuration decisions, processes, and customizations made during the implementation phase.

  • Prepare regular status reports and updates for clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Stay updated with Dayforce Workforce Management updates, new features, and industry trends.

  • Recommend system enhancements or additional modules that could optimize client workforce management processes.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) in implementing, configuring, and testing Dayforce HCM solutions, with a specialization in Workforce Management.

  • Strong understanding of workforce planning, scheduling, time tracking, and labor compliance regulations.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.

  • Certification in Dayforce HCM or related HR/workforce management systems (preferred).

  • Full-time, US or Canada - remote.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Client management experience

  • Experience with WFM systems such as Dayforce, UKG, Red Prairie, Novatime, etc.

  • SQL and XML knowledge is a plus

  • Relevant Certifications in HR, IT, WFM, and/or PROSCI are a plus
