Job description

AXL Global Consulting is looking for enthusiastic problem solvers to join our Dayforce Human Capital/Workforce Management consulting team. As an Integrations Consultant, you will be responsible for working with our amazing clients to integrate other systems to work well with their Human Capital Management (HCM) system to meet interface and reporting requirements. Integrations is a critical and complex component of HCM systems. An Integrations Consultant will need strong communication and problem-solving skills to be effective in their role.

You should have a technical mindset and be comfortable problem solving with multiple systems. This is a functional consulting position; however, executing on the data design and flow of software implementations such as System Integration and Report Writing is required.

This is a full-time, remote (USA or Canada) role. 

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and test integrations between Dayforce HCM and third-party systems
  • Gather and document integration requirements
  • Create specifications detailing source, transformation/mapping logic, destination, formatting, and integration protocol
  • Configure and support various integration methods, including SFTP, APIs/web services, and file-based transfers
  • Communicate effectively, ensuring deliverables are met and risks identified
  • Collaborate with the internal AXL team to assist fellow consultants where needed
  • Execute multiple projects simultaneously

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of integrations experience, preferably with Dayforce
  • Strong proficiency in XML, EDI, JSON, and/or other data interchange formats
  • Experience in Dayforce HCM exports; Reports and/or Integration Studio a plus
  • Experience with API's; POSTMAN; Swagger
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Strong organizational and written communication skills
  • Understanding of Structured Data/Relational Database concepts (MS SQL)
  • Experience with programming languages (examples: Python, C#, Java)
  • Creative problem-solving and business judgment
  • Experience working independently without daily supervision
  • Ability to multitask between different projects and clients

Preferred Qualifications

  • Consulting experience preferred
  • Technical degree preferred
