Role Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Senior Program Director to lead and govern large, complex enterprise programs focused on Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Agentic AI initiatives. This role requires deep expertise in managing multi-year, multi-vendor automation and AI transformation programs, aligning business strategy with emerging AI capabilities, and delivering measurable business outcomes at scale.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership presence, proven experience managing global programs, and the ability to bridge business, technology, and operations while driving innovation using RPA, AI agents, and intelligent automation platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Governance
• Lead end-to-end enterprise-scale RPA and Agentic AI programs, managing scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies.
• Establish and run program governance structures, including steering committees, executive reviews, and value-tracking mechanisms.
• Own overall program roadmap, milestones, and success metrics aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with organizational, regulatory, security, and ethical AI standards.
Strategy & Transformation
• Partner with C-level executives and senior stakeholders to define automation and AI strategy, operating model, and long-term vision.
• Drive the transition from traditional RPA to intelligent automation and agentic AI–led solutions.
• Identify high-value automation and AI opportunities across business functions (Finance, HR, Supply Chain, Customer Operations, IT, etc.).
• Build and scale Automation / AI Centers of Excellence (CoE).
Stakeholder & Client Management
• Act as the primary interface with executive sponsors, business leaders, and external partners.
• Translate business goals into executable AI and automation programs.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, communication plans, and change management activities.
• Influence decision-making across diverse and global teams.
Delivery & Execution
• Oversee multiple workstreams including solution design, development, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
• Ensure delivery excellence using Agile, SAFe, or hybrid delivery models.
• Drive benefits realization, ROI tracking, and continuous improvement.
• Manage large cross-functional teams including program managers, architects, data scientists, RPA developers, and business analysts.
Technology & Architecture Oversight
• Provide strategic ov.ersight on:
• RPA platforms (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, etc.)
• Agentic AI frameworks and orchestration layers
• LLM-based solutions and AI copilots
• Process mining and task mining tools
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Security, and Data teams.
Vendor & Financial Management
• Manage multi-vendor ecosystems including system integrators, platform providers, and niche AI vendors.
• Own program budgets, forecasts, and commercial negotiations.
• Ensure contractual compliance and performance management.
Required Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Master’s degree (MBA / MS) preferred
Experience
• 15+ years of experience in IT, Digital Transformation, or Automation programs
• 8–10+ years leading large, complex enterprise programs (multi-million dollar budgets)
• Proven experience delivering RPA at scale and transitioning to AI-driven automation
• Hands-on exposure to Agentic AI, AI agents, LLM orchestration, or intelligent automation platforms
