About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect to lead the design and architecture of enterprise-scale cloud data platforms supporting mission-critical analytics and business intelligence initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex data challenges, defining enterprise architecture standards, mentoring engineering teams, and driving modern cloud-based data solutions.

The successful candidate will act as the technical leader for the overall data architecture while collaborating closely with cloud engineers, data engineers, business stakeholders, and analytics teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design enterprise Data Lakes, Data Warehouses and Data Marts
  • Develop logical and physical data models
  • Define enterprise data architecture standards and best practices
  • Architect scalable cloud-based data platforms
  • Design metadata management and data catalog strategies
  • Optimize large-scale data warehouse performance
  • Design data partitioning, archival and retention strategies
  • Develop Slowly Changing Dimension (SCD) models
  • Establish governance, security and RBAC architecture
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code
  • Mentor junior and mid-level data engineers and architects
  • Work with business users to gather and translate data requirements
  • Support enterprise reporting and visualization platforms
