Remote Case Study information

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Remote Case Study Specialist, and why are they important?

To excel as a Remote Case Study Specialist, you need strong research, analytical, and writing skills, often supported by a degree in marketing, business, or a related field. Familiarity with collaboration tools (like Zoom, Slack, or Trello), CRM systems, and document editing platforms is typically required. Outstanding communication, attention to detail, and time management are vital soft skills for engaging stakeholders and delivering high-quality case studies on schedule. These abilities ensure thorough, compelling case studies that effectively showcase results and support organizational goals in a remote work environment.

What is a Remote Case Study?

A Remote Case Study is a research or investigative project conducted entirely online or at a distance, without the need for in-person interactions. It typically involves collecting, analyzing, and presenting data about a particular subject, organization, or process using digital tools and remote communication. These case studies are commonly used in academic, business, and consulting settings to explore problems, test theories, or share best practices. Remote case studies offer flexibility in participation and allow for broader geographic reach, making them valuable in today's increasingly digital world.

How do professionals conducting remote case studies typically manage collaboration and communication with team members and clients?

Professionals working on remote case studies often rely on a suite of digital collaboration tools, such as video conferencing platforms, project management software, and cloud-based document sharing, to facilitate effective teamwork. Clear communication is key, so regular virtual meetings and detailed progress updates are common practices to ensure everyone stays aligned. Additionally, setting clear expectations around deadlines and deliverables helps maintain accountability, even when team members are in different locations or time zones. This remote setup can enhance flexibility, but it also requires strong self-management and proactive communication skills.

• Perform detailed QA checks covering spelling, punctuation, alignment, layout, and visual balance
• Review assets holistically to ensure both visual quality and messaging consistency
Content Strategy Contribution
• Contribute to content planning discussions, bringing a visual perspective to how stories are told across formats
• Suggest format adaptations and creative approaches to maximize engagement across LinkedIn, email, and web
• Support content calendar execution by aligning visual asset production to planned campaign cadences
Collaboration & Communication
• Collaborate with the Product Manager, Marketing Support Specialist and broader team to understand requirements and refine creative outputs
• Clearly communicate design decisions and rationale when presenting work
• Operate effectively in a feedback-heavy, iterative environment with fast turnaround expectations
Core Requirements:
• Strong design skills with proficiency in video editing and motion design
• Tools/Skills: Figma, Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) AI-based creative tools

• Strong proofreading ability with high accuracy across written and visual content
• Exceptional attention to detail across both visual execution and written messaging
• Ability to follow and enforce brand guidelines consistently
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, revision-driven environment
• Able to operate with high autonomy in a remote environment
Desired Experience
• Experience in SaaS, B2B, or technology marketing environments
• Familiarity with B2B content formats - LinkedIn, long-form web content, product marketing materials
• Exposure to content calendar management or campaign planning
• Understanding of how visual content supports lead nurturing and brand positioning
