Ballad Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team as a full-time practitioner. The position resides within a remote outpatient office setting, allowing you to engage with clients from the comfort of your own space while still being an integral part of a supportive team. • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the level, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms presented by clients. This involves utilizing standardized assessment tools as well as observational techniques during sessions.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with clients’ individual needs, therapeutic goals, and preferences, leveraging evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, exploring various treatment options, and promoting self-care practices to empower clients in their recovery journeys.
• Continuously monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary, ensuring that therapeutic approaches remain effective and client-centered.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other medical professionals, to provide integrated care, ensuring a holistic approach to client wellness.
• Stay informed on the latest research developments in mood disorders and therapeutic interventions to enhance treatment outcomes and client success.
• Maintain adherence to ethical standards and legal regulations by accurately documenting confidential client information.
• Actively participate in case reviews, professional development workshops, and team-building activities, contributing to a culture of shared insight and continuous learning.
• Advocate for clients by reducing stigma associated with mental health conditions and ensuring that their unique needs are met.

You will primarily work with individuals suffering from mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. This role requires a compassionate approach, as clients may also include vulnerable populations such as homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. • Current and active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Florida is required.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is essential for this position.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to build secure therapeutic relationships with clients and foster an open, trusting environment.
• A strong sense of empathy, kindness, and a nonjudgmental perspective toward clients’ experiences and challenges are imperative.
• Proficient organizational and time management capabilities to balance caseloads effectively while attending to administrative duties.

• Experience using evidence-based therapeutic practices, particularly CBT and DBT, in both assessment and intervention strategies.
• A demonstrated history of working with diverse populations, particularly those facing sociocultural challenges, would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with case management and integrating care with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive client support.

• The annual salary for this position ranges between USD 70,000 and 90,000, commensurate with qualifications and professional experience.
