Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess clients' mood disorder symptoms, evaluating their intensity, frequency, and duration.
  • Create and implement tailored treatment plans based on individual client needs, goals, and personal history.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to guide sessions.
  • Provide educational support and resources to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices.
  • Continuously monitor and document client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on evolving needs.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive client care.
  • Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in treatment for mood disorders to refine therapeutic strategies.
  • Uphold stringent ethical and legal documentation practices to maintain patient confidentiality and integrity.
  • Engage in case consultations and team meetings to foster a cohesive therapeutic environment.
  • Advocate for the needs of clients, while promoting awareness of mental health issues within the community.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients served at Ballad Counseling Center encompass a diverse population, including individuals experiencing mood disorders, such as depression and anxiety, as well as those coping with trauma-related issues. Qualifications
  • Must possess a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
