This full-time position offers the flexibility to work remotely while serving a diverse patient population in Modesto, California. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs, determine diagnoses, and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities to deliver short-term counseling services for individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and other behavioral health disorders.
  • Provide case management services, ensuring clients have access to necessary resources and support throughout their treatment journey.
  • Engage in crisis intervention, including assessment and de-escalation tactics, and collaborate with public mental health crisis teams as required.
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings, offering insights and support for treatment continuity.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work primarily with adults experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, and interpersonal conflicts. You will contribute to improving client outcomes through personalized care, focusing on recovery-oriented practices and respect for each client’s unique experiences and backgrounds.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in behavioral sciences such as Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) from the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
  • A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience providing mental health counseling.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical practices, including familiarity with evidence-based treatment approaches.
