Crestpoint Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. As a remote counselor, you will utilize virtual platforms to conduct therapy sessions, manage case documentation, and participate in interdisciplinary meetings. • Conduct comprehensive preliminary interviews to gain insight into clients' histories, needs, and goals, accurately documenting each case from initial consultations through treatment completion.
• Evaluate clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health using evidence-based assessment methods to inform treatment strategies.
• Develop personalized intervention and recovery plans tailored to the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based approaches.
• Monitor and document client progress in alignment with treatment plans, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care strategies.
• Engage in follow-up communications with hospital-based psychiatrists for clients transitioning from inpatient to outpatient care.
• Proactively identify and address obstacles to recovery, equipping clients and their families with the tools needed to manage their mental and emotional health challenges.
• Support family members and primary caregivers by providing resources and strategies for dealing with mental health issues.

Our client population is diverse, encompassing individuals with a range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and trauma-related challenges. You will work with clients from various backgrounds, making cultural competency essential in your approach. • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
• Proven experience as a mental health counselor, demonstrating applied skill in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems, preferably AVATAR, for effective documentation and case management.
• Solid understanding of various physical and emotional health conditions, along with addiction disorders, to provide a holistic approach to mental health care.
• Knowledge of best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for client interactions and collaborative teamwork.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy, active listening, and cultural sensitivity.

• Experience working with integrated health care systems and a deep understanding of the nuances in mental health among different populations.
• Demonstrated capacity for innovating therapeutic techniques tailored to individual and group dynamics.
• Familiarity with community resources and referral options to enhance client support networks.

The salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $100,000 annually, with opportunities for a sign-on bonus.
