Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
Birmingham, Alabama Remote / Telehealth
Employment: Full-Time
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Compensation: $115,000-$120,000 annually + full benefits
What We're Hiring For
We're seeking an experienced LICSW to provide individual therapy to clients through telehealth. You'll be responsible for your own client appointments and clinical follow-up, with the flexibility of working remotely from a private setting.
The position suits a clinician who is comfortable handling cases independently, communicating with clients online, and using professional judgment when additional care or referral may be appropriate.
Clinical Responsibilities
Client Care
  • Conduct scheduled individual therapy appointments
  • Discuss presenting concerns and determine the appropriate focus of care
  • Apply clinical social work approaches suited to the client
  • Identify when additional services or referrals should be considered

Clinical Administration
  • Complete session notes and required client records
  • Keep documentation current and accurate
  • Participate in case consultation when appropriate
  • Maintain confidentiality across all virtual interactions

Requirements
  • Active Alabama LICSW license in good standing
  • Comfort using telehealth tools, electronic documentation systems, and remote client communication
