In this position, you will engage in a variety of important activities, including:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance abuse histories as well as their mental health statuses.
• Crafting individualized treatment plans that address both addiction and associated mental health conditions, tailoring interventions to meet specific client needs.
• Facilitating structured individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques that foster recovery and personal growth.
• Collaborating closely with other team members, sharing insights and strategies to ensure integrated care and optimal treatment outcomes for our clients.
• Educating clients' families on the intricacies of addiction and recovery, actively engaging them in the support process to promote a community of recovery.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation that complies with legal and ethical standards, ensuring that all client interactions are properly recorded.

You will be working primarily with individuals struggling with substance use disorders. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and range in age and experience with addiction. Many face co-occurring disorders such as anxiety, depression, or trauma. Your role is crucial in helping them navigate their recovery journey, providing not only therapeutic interventions but also hope and encouragement.

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

• A valid professional license as LCMFT, LCPC, LCP, LCSW, LSCSW, or PsyD.
• A master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Specialized training or demonstrable experience in addiction counseling methods and practices.
• A thorough understanding of evidence-based treatments for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
• Strong therapeutic, and counseling skills with a focus on client motivation and engagement.
• Excellent communication abilities and adeptness in teamwork dynamics, particularly in a remote setting.

While the essential qualifications are crucial, preferred candidates will also have:

• Experience working in remote or telehealth settings, especially within addiction treatment.
• Familiarity with tools and platforms used for teletherapy, enabling seamless client interaction.
• A record of participation in professional development activities that enhance clinical skills.
