• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate the needs of students and their families, developing personalized treatment plans that align with school goals.
• Provide individual and group counseling services for students facing various challenges, such as academic pressure, family dynamics, and peer relationships.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions to promote mental health resilience and facilitate necessary skill-building.
• Monitor and document client progress towards treatment objectives, making adjustments to therapy as needed based on evolving needs and feedback.
• Collaborate with teachers, school counselors, and external mental health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each student’s care, thereby enhancing their academic and emotional outcomes.
• Provide crisis intervention for students experiencing acute distress or emergencies, ensuring their safety and stabilization.
• Maintain meticulous and timely records of all interactions, adhering to ethical and legal standards regarding confidentiality and documentation.
• Stay informed on the latest mental health research and interdisciplinary approaches to effectively integrate new methodologies into practice.

You will primarily work with students from various backgrounds who are experiencing a range of emotional and behavioral difficulties. This includes supporting those coping with mental health issues, substance use, or significant life transitions such as divorce or grief. Your role will be crucial in fostering a supportive atmosphere that enables safe expression and constructive coping strategies for our youth.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
• A valid and current state license to practice clinical social work (LCSW) is mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills that foster trust and rapport with students, families, and educational personnel.
• The ability to use compassionate listening skills and provide effective feedback to clients.
• Capable of working independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment, contributing to shared goals.
