• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans for clients.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups facing a variety of mental health challenges.
• Utilize a range of tailored therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Engage with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to ensure holistic client support and effective treatment outcomes.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records in compliance with ethical and legal requirements.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, workshops, and training sessions to remain informed of the latest advancements in mental health treatment and methodologies.

Your work will primarily focus on underserved populations in Laredo, Texas, who often have limited access to mental health resources. You will offer support for various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use issues. • Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, demonstrating effectiveness in direct client care.
• Strong understanding of and adherence to legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with diverse clients.
• Proficiency using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and related documentation technologies.

• Specialization or additional training in family therapy, couples therapy, substance abuse counseling, or trauma-informed care is highly desirable.
• Experience working within community health settings or with multidisciplinary teams is a plus.
