What You Will Do
  • Lead pre-sales activities for comprehensive portfolio of cybersecurity solutions and services in support of the Central American and Caribbean (CCA) region.
  • Collaborate with CCA partners and resellers to enhance their sales efforts by providing technical expertise and engineering support for Sophos solutions.
  • Serve as product expert for customers with Sophos XGS Next Generation Firewalls, Encryption, Endpoint Protection, Risk and Compliance, Mobile Security, and broader Cybersecurity measures.
  • Deliver in-depth corporate information to customers and key accounts, focusing on the latest security trends, emerging attack vectors, and advanced research on vulnerabilities.
  • Share strategies to effectively mitigate cybersecurity threats, informed by cutting-edge research and real-world attack methodologies.
  • Provide technical guidance to partners and resellers to enhance their understanding and capabilities with Sophos solutions.
  • Articulate complex security concepts and solutions from technical teams to C -Level.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in cybersecurity, including threat landscapes, defensive strategies, and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure that customers are well-informed about the potential threats and the best practices to protect their digital assets.
  • Reports to HQ at 3090 Nowitzki Way, Suite 300, Dallas, TX 75219. Telecommuting permissible from home office anywhere in the U.S.
  • Up to 25% travel to visit current and prospective customers in Central America and Caribbean (the assigned sales territory).
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related technical field (or foreign degree equivalent) and at least 5 years of experience working with decision makers to achieve sales quotas in IT or cybersecurity industry.
  • Demonstrated ability with Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services as well as Incident Response offerings; Demonstrated ability with technical cybersecurity understanding including protection methods for Networks, Cloud Workloads, Windows, Linux and Mac OS devices
  • Demonstrated ability with delivering high quality, engaging product demos to current and prospective customers
  • Demonstrated ability with delivering outstanding customer experience and clearly articulating competitive advantages to both technical and business-level audiences
  • Demonstrated ability selling through and with channel partners, and ability to thrive in a team selling environment.
In the United States, the base salary for this role ranges from $172,000 to $286,000. In addition to the base salary, there's a component for target sales commissions alongside a comprehensive benefits package. A candidate's specific pay within this range will depend on a variety of factors, including job-related skills, training, location, experience, relevant education, certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
