Virtual Physician- Cardiology

The Virtual Cardiologist provides remote, patient-centered cardiovascular care, including diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of heart-related conditions. This role evaluates moderately complex to complex clinical scenarios and applies clinical expertise to deliver high-quality care in a virtual environment.

Deliver virtual consultations to assess, diagnose, and manage cardiovascular conditions

Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical evidence

Collaborate with primary care providers and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care

Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., ECGs, echocardiograms, lab work)

Prescribe medications and recommend therapies in alignment with current clinical guidelines

Provide follow-up care and monitor patient outcomes through virtual platforms

Active, unrestricted medical license in the State of Florida

Reside in the State of Florida

Board Certification in Cardiology

Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in cardiology practice

Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and telehealth platforms

Knowledge of evidence-based cardiovascular care guidelines

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Daily patient volume averages 4–6 scheduled visits, allowing for meaningful patient interaction

Extended appointment times (approximately 45 minutes per visit)

Responsibilities include a combination of virtual patient visits, eConsults, and referrals from primary care providers

Focus on direct patient care, with administrative tasks limited to those related to patient management

Must meet all state licensure requirements for practicing physicians

This is a patient-facing role and participation in the TB (tuberculosis) screening program is required upon hire
