This role offers a remote work setting, allowing for flexibility while still actively engaging with clients through virtual platforms. • Conduct interactive group therapy sessions aimed at addressing addiction issues and enhancing coping strategies.
• Assess and evaluate each client’s progress, utilizing evidence-based practices and frameworks to adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide crisis intervention services for clients in distress, employing de-escalation techniques and trauma-informed care.
• Educate clients about the psychological and physiological impacts of addiction and strategies for management, ensuring they have access to relevant resources.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, case managers, and support staff, to coordinate comprehensive care tailored to individual client needs.

Our focus is on individuals and families dealing with addiction and related mental health challenges. Clients may include youth struggling with substance use disorders, families seeking counseling to manage the effects of addiction on relationships, and couples navigating difficulties exacerbated by addiction. Our therapist's role is critical in fostering resilience and creating actionable paths for recovery.

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in good standing.
• Familiarity with local community mental health resources and referral systems.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, essential for effective client interaction and documentation.
• A proven ability to establish rapport and trust with diverse populations.

• Prior experience in addiction counseling or working within substance use treatment settings.
• Experience leading group therapy sessions and navigating virtual platforms for telehealth counseling.
• Knowledge of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is advantageous.

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 – 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package which includes:
