My client, a well-respected, stable organization with over 40 years of history, is seeking a strategic and experienced Capital Markets Director to oversee their mortgage-backed securities (MBS) program and capital markets operations. This is a supportive, collaborative work culture without the high-pressure dynamics of a banking environment. Mainly remote (2 days on-site monthly after 5 days of training in Nashville) with a 37.5-hour work week. PTO starts at 4 ½ weeks immediately. The salary is up to $195,000. Responsibilities of the Capital Markets Director:

  • The Capital Markets Director will lead MBS trading, pricing strategy, and capital markets execution, including securitization and liquidity management
  • Oversee end-to-end trade processes, including execution, settlement, reconciliation, and reporting
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team, including hiring, coaching, and performance oversight
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, GSE, and internal policy requirements
  • Drive financial strategy through cash flow modeling, risk management, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications of the Capital Markets Director:

  • Experience experience setting mortgage rates and securitizing mortgages into mortgage-backed securities
  • Prior leadership experience
