YMCA of the USA (Y-USA) is the national resource office for YMCAs throughout the United States.
Job Description
The Manager, Network Facilitation advances Y-USA's mission by supporting initiatives that strengthen and expand community-based services across the national YMCA network. This role facilitates collaborative innovation processes among YMCAs and State Alliances to build shared understanding and generate sustainable solutions to identified health and well-being issues facing local Ys and their communities. The Manager will collaborate across internal teams and external stakeholders to support implementation of high quality approaches that address priority areas. Operating as convener and facilitator, this role shapes and coordinates efforts that enhance the capacity and impact of local Ys in serving and supporting their communities.
The Network Experience Team fosters a culture of service across the YMCA network by operating in deep partnership with local Ys. The team develops and activates timely, relevant resources; designs and delivers high-quality experiences for YMCA leaders; facilitates innovation to ensure continued relevance; and drives national positioning that strengthens the YMCA's credibility within the industry. Grounded in a customer-experience mindset and powered by leading practices and the Y-USA service delivery system, the team connects strategy to execution in service of local Ys. Through this work, the Network Experience Team advances organizational excellence and supports the Y's core purpose-creating experiences of achievement, relationship, and belonging that build stronger, more connected communities.

Qualifications
A successful candidate will possess a majority of the following professional and personal attributes and competencies:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher required in a relevant field such as Business, or related disciplines required.

Essential Functions
  • Manages execution of projects to support implementation of organizational priorities by applying the Y's Innovation Process, building network capacity, aligning work with leading practices, and engaging cross functional teams to strengthen the development and delivery of community based services.
  • Manages implementation of YMCA network facilitation processes among the network to increase adoption of Y-USA products and solutions and to provide programmatic support, refines facilitation strategy, supports alignment with network activation, and ensures effective use of systems that enable seamless support to the YMCA network.
  • Develops and refines tools, processes, and methods that capture learnings, strengthen Y-USA support systems, promote consistent, high quality implementation, and support continuous improvement across the Movement.
  • Manages assigned components of grant funded initiatives, cultivating relationships, coordinating deliverables, contributing to program and financial reporting, and ensuring timely completion of commitments aligned with project goals.
