The work environment is a remote office setting that provides a comfortable and climate-controlled atmosphere. • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, effectively diagnosing mental health conditions when necessary, and evaluating patient progress using recognized clinical tools, such as the DSM-5, to formulate customized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to continuously assess and monitor patient progress, providing timely interventions and therapeutic strategies to enhance treatment outcomes.

• Maintain comprehensive records of treatment, including progress notes and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal protocols, while making effective use of current technology.

• Collaborate with patients, their families, and the healthcare team to develop an individualized care plan that is culturally considerate and aligned with the patient’s goals for therapy.

• Anticipate safety concerns and intervene appropriately to minimize risks and support symptom reduction in patients.

• Coordinate referral resources and establish professional relationships with various service providers, creating a supportive network for patients.

• Support the educational development of interns, residents, and volunteers by providing mentoring and supervision to guide their clinical skills.

• Participate in peer reviews and clinical collaborations as directed by a clinical supervisor to enhance team member skills and promote a learning culture.

This role primarily centers on serving individuals and families coping with the emotional and psychological challenges associated with cancer diagnoses. The LCSW will work closely with diverse clients, tailoring approaches to reflect the cultural considerations and specific needs of each patient, ensuring that all interventions are holistic and person-centered.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, preferably with a focus on oncology care.

• Experience with electronic health record systems and other clinical software to document and manage patient interactions effectively.

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 90,000 and 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
