The work setting for this position is primarily remote. However, our organization provides a supportive climate-controlled environment that encourages daily interaction with departmental teams and collaboration with other healthcare providers. • Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ mental health needs, diagnosing when necessary, and continually evaluating their status using appropriate tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).
• Create and manage individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients and their families, ensuring that treatment plans address personal goals while incorporating cultural and individual considerations.
• Implement evidence-based interventions effectively to monitor and enhance the mental health outcomes for each patient.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation including treatment records, progress notes, and reports, ensuring compliance with departmental procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as a resource for patients by coordinating referral options, linking them with additional treatment providers, and acting as a point of contact throughout their mental health care journey.
• Educate and mentor students, interns, and volunteers, enhancing their understanding of clinical practices through hands-on experience and feedback.
• Engage in team collaboration through peer review, clinical discussions, and mentorship to foster a culture of professional growth within the department.

The LICSW in this role will focus on outpatient therapy specifically for individuals and families affected by cancer. This patient population may present a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders related to their diagnosis. The social worker will be instrumental in developing coping strategies and offering therapeutic support throughout their treatment journey.

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) is required.
• A current state license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) is mandatory.
• Demonstrated knowledge of therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices in mental health care.
• Competency in maintaining professional standards and regulatory compliance in clinical practice.

• Experience working with cancer patients or in an oncology setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with telehealth technologies and methodologies.
• Previous experience in mentoring or training peers is advantageous.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
