Job description

Provides strategic and operational leadership for Corporate Account Operations by overseeing a team of up to 10 Corporate Account Operations professionals while also directly managing account operations for a select group of high-value corporate accounts. Success in this role is demonstrated through strong team performance, consistent delivery of high-quality partner experiences, achievement of revenue retention and growth goals, and effective cross-functional alignment with sales and enterprise partners. This player-coach role strengthens organizational impact by scaling account execution excellence, developing talent, and maintaining direct engagement in key accounts that deepen corporate partner value.
This is a remote/work from home role.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Leads, coaches, and develops a team of up to 10 Corporate Account Operations staff, setting clear expectations, managing performance, building capabilities, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement (30%).

  • Directly manages account operations for a select portfolio of high-value corporate accounts, ensuring successful execution of partnership commitments, proactive problem solving, strong customer satisfaction, and retention of strategic relationships (10%).

  • Directs the execution of corporate partner programs and account operations across the broader portfolio to ensure consistent fulfillment, operational excellence, and alignment with organizational revenue and stewardship goals (15%).

  • Establishes and monitors team processes, service standards, workflows, and performance measures to improve scalability, efficiency, risk management, and consistency in partnership delivery (20%).

  • Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external corporate representatives to resolve escalated issues, remove barriers, and ensure successful implementation of partnership commitments (20%).

  • Analyzes portfolio trends, operational data, and partner feedback to identify opportunities for improvement, inform leadership decisions, and strengthen retention and growth strategies (5%).

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum Degree Preferred: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, nonprofit management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

  • Years of experience: Minimum seven years of progressive experience in corporate account management, partnership operations, program management, fundraising operations, or related business functions.
  • Three years of people leadership experience and direct responsibility for strategic or high-value accounts.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
  • Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing teams in a complex, matrixed environment.

  • Proven ability to balance people leadership responsibilities with direct ownership of strategic or high-value account operations.

  • Strong strategic thinking and operational leadership skills, with the ability to translate business goals into team execution plans.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, lead through change, and drive consistent execution across a distributed portfolio or team.

  • Strong relationship management and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across sales, operations, and external partner groups.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, including the ability to use operational data and partner feedback to improve performance.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, coaching, and interpersonal skills.

  • Broad knowledge of corporate partnership execution, stewardship, customer service, and organizational policies and procedures.

  • Proficiency in computer-based applications and systems used for account management, reporting, and communication.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Some travel required, including occasional in-person meetings with team members, internal partners, and corporate accounts.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • This role primarily involves extended periods of sitting, computer use, virtual and in-person communication, and occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting of light materials related to meetings or events.

The starting rate is $100,000 to $135,000. The final candidate's relevant experience/skills will be considered before an offer is extended. Actual starting pay will vary based on non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
