Familiarity with telehealth platforms, electronic health records (EHRs), and secure communication tools is typically required. Remote cancer coaches often have backgrounds in nursing, social work, psychology, or health coaching, and their services are tailored to each client's unique needs. Their goal is to empower patients and their families, making the cancer journey less overwhelming and more manageable from the comfort of home.
